A woman with a voice is, by definition, a strong woman

 

Over 51% of women in SA says they have experienced gender based violence in the hands of their loved ones, according to Africa Health Organization. These women are unable to leave due to no source of income and the sense of provision that comes with the perpetrators. 

The #FixHerCrown is an annual event focusing on empowering women to own their space and be able to start their own business and generate their own income. This is to enable them to lose the total dependency they have on men.

This project started last year and it received such a huge welcome that the impact it had on women who attended was visible. 

The focus this year is to bring women from all walks of life, to have a day together with women that they can relate to and be able to talk and build a sisterhood that goes beyond the event itself. 

This is an event by women for women, young and old
